Last day of the A to Z April Blogging Challenge 2016

Hi,
For those of you visiting my blog this is day 26, the last day of the A to Z Blogging Challenge. Today’s corresponding letter is “Z” Today I chose the names Zac and Zabel. Zac is a pretty common name, but Zabel caught my attention because it is a different take on the name Isabel.
Hope you all have enjoyed this month’s post. I know I have enjoyed the writing and gotten many ideas from the names I’ve used. If my imagination takes off on a few of these I’ll be thrilled. If not, then I hope at least one or two of you fellow writers who visited might gain some spark.
Enjoy today’s post and remember to let your imagination soar when you read.
Have a great day.

Zabel pushed the stray twig of hair behind her ear. The ear he loved to nibble on while curled up watching a movie. There’d been few of those nights as of late. His internship kept him busy, just like her new baker did her. They were due for a long weekend away, just the two of them.
“Zac,” Zabel threw the paper at him, “are you listening to me?”
He shook his head and grinned. “Your beauty is distracting me.” I stood and moved so I stood over here. “What was my woman going on about when she should’ve been in my lap giving me some attention.”
“Attention! I think that’s what got us into the situation I was telling you about.”
Her words had me taking a couple of steps back. Those words stung him, but he knew the two of them hadn’t been in an argument recently, they’ not seen each other much. Last time they’d both been off work for an entire day they’d spent it in bed. Ignored the phone and all. He got a chewing out from his mom over that, until he told her that if they didn’t spend time together she’d never get grandchildren. Not that the two of them where worried too much about having kids. They were both so busy it was unreal.
“I said . . .” she held her hand, “look.”
He glanced down at the long slender plastic stick. “What’s . . . Oh my! Really?”
“Yes, your mom’s getting her wish.”
“Shit! Shoot. I can’t be cussing anymore.” He dropped to his knees and laid a hand over her flat belly. “We’re having a kid?”
“We are.”

Day 25 of the A to Z April Blogging Challenge 2016

Hi,
For those of you visiting my blog this is day 25 of the A to Z Blogging Challenge. Today’s corresponding letter is “Y” Today I chose the names Yura and Yuri. There were fewer names on the site I used for Y, which surprised me a bit after finding so many names for X yesterday. The choices I had also made coming up with a scene a bit difficult for me. Hope you enjoy it.
Enjoy today’s post and remember to let your imagination soar when you read.
Have a great day.

I wanted to smack the grin off of Yuri’s face. He always gave the same one corner, goofy expression when he knew he had one over on me. It was the third time in a week I’d seen it and it was way beyond old.
“Might as well spill whatever you know that I don’t.”
“Would I keep something form you, Yura?”
“Yes.”
Yuri shrugged and tossed him a small index card size piece of paper covered in plastic. “What’s this?”
“Take a look and tell me what you see.”
I glanced down and the world tilted. Hell, I reached out to grab ahold of the wooden phone stand beside me. There was no way I was seeing what I saw. It was here. The angelic face we’d not seen in five years. The sweet sexy child-bearing hips I’d dreamed of for 1,825 days.
“Where did you find this?” I flipped the plastic covered newspaper article over.
“Buddy of mine clipped it and mailed it to me. He wasn’t sure if it was our Lizzy or not. He wouldn’t even tell me what he was sending me, just told me to take a look and let him know. I thought he sent me another start up venture idea.”
“She’s not changed much.”
“Nope.” Yuri came to my side and pointed at the caption under the photo. “Was taken one week ago when my friend was in Paris.”
“What’s she doing there?” she belonged at our side.
“Not sure. Not sure if she’s still there or not.”
“You got this friend of yours checking it out?”
“Course. Also bought us two open tickets for when he returns my call.”
“Great.” I ran my finger over the photo. “I don’t care why she ran from us, just that she’s safe and being taken care of.”
“Me to, Yura. Me too.”

Day 24 of the A to Z April Blogging Challenge 2016

Hi,
For those of you visiting my blog this is day 24 of the A to Z Blogging Challenge. Today’s corresponding letter is “X” Today I chose the names Xanto and Xana. When looking for the names with X I assumed there would be a limited number. Proved the saying Assuming Makes an Ass out of you. There was way more than I dreamed possible. Most had some very unique meaning, which in this case is how I came up with the scene.

“You can’t name our children Blond and Blondy.”
“The hell I can’t. I gave birth to them. You sure didn’t squeeze them out from a tiny hole. When you do, you can name them.”
“Please, sweetie, don’t curse our children with those names. Find . . . Alternate names.”
“He’s right, darling.”
I whipped my head towards my mother and fronwed. “What other names fit their amazing hair color. Her golden hair and his bright blond hair needs rewarding. It’s a family trait, one I’ve not heard of since great-grandpa.”
“I know, darling, but he wasn’t named blond, was he?”
I shook my head, hating that my mom and husband was right.
“Sweetie, there are all kinds of names that holds the meaning that will fit their amazing hair color.”
“Like what?” I knew my husband hadn’t thought this out and I wanted to see him squirm a bit. Boy what a bad mistake on my part.
“Xanto and Xana.”
The I got you grin he wore made me want to smack him upside the head. If he had already found names that honored my family trait why hadn’t he told me.
“I know, sweetie, I’m in big trouble.”
“You are, but tell me what they mean and see if you can dig yourself out of it.”
“Xanto means blond haired. Xana means golden hair.”
I stared down at my little girl and she wiggled her little fist, making me smile at her. I touched her little cheek and said, “Is your name Xana?”
“Sounds as if she agrees, darling.”
My mom was right; the cute cooing was all the answer I needed.
“You named your children, you’re out of the doghouse.”

“There you two are.”
Willie glanced up and saw Jonas striding up. Walter automatically scooted closer to him. The action was small enough no one would have recognized it for what it was. Walter staking his claim. There was no real reason for him to do so. They’d been a couple for the last ten years, but Jonas and him had dated for a half of year before he met Walter. Him remaining close friends with Jonas bothered Walter, but he never demanded him to stop hanging around him. Willie did honor his wish of the two of them limiting how much one-on-one time he had with Jonas. When Walter asked him that Willie was pissed about Walter thinking he’d stray on him, but after they discussed the reasoning behind it he understood Walter’s point a bit better.
“Thought you two were going to the Jamboree last night.”
“Worked late.” Walter pointed at him.
“What?” Willie flicked a peanut shell at Jonas when he rolled his eyes. “I can’t help there was a ten car pile-up on the freeway.”
“Yeah, any excuse.” Jonas took the empty spot beside Walter. “What have I missed?”
“Nothing.” He waved at the red wigged clown running around the horse ring. “Like normal they are entraining us with some goofy clowns while they wrangle the cowboys.”
“May I?” a tall hunk of meat of a man walked up on Jonas’ left.
Willie almost chuckled when Jonas leaned his head up, taking in every small aspect of the giant requesting to sit beside him. Didn’t take Jonas but a second to nod at the man, who gracefully, for such a big man, sat down next to him.
Willie wrapped his arms around Walter and leaned in and whispered, “Think Jonas has an admiring.”
Jonas must have heard him, or knew him well enough to know what he was saying, because he shot him a bird. The newcomer laughed at them and then said, “Best friends or family?”
“Is there a difference?” Willie lifted an eyebrow at the man.
“Not to me. Some think so.”
“Not us.” Jonas pointed to Walter and him. “These two love-birds are my family no matter what others believe about blood making family.”

“Good to know.” The man leaned closer to Jonas and said, “Good to know they are no competition for your sexy body.”

He glared at his brother instead of slapping him upset the head. He doubted their future woman would take kindly to seeing two identical grown men behaving like pesky children. Vince had done enough of that by barging up to the sexy little red head and openly telling her she belonged to them.
Van was sure it took all the red head woman’s patients to keep from slapping Vince. Van would’ve decked a stranger bold enough to tell him such. Yet, straight forwardness was Vince’s way. It always led them into trouble, but then . . . Well, it brought more than either of them was prepared for.
Their red headed mate wasn’t human like Van and his brother assumed. Nope. Fates had paired the twins with a true fire blazing woman. In every sense of the word. Their little woman wasn’t so little in her hidden form. Dragons never was, especially the ones who had the ability to set an entire state on fire with a sneeze.
Van did like how fast the short burst of flames had Vince jumping left and then back about twenty feet. Or he did until the lick of flame landed a mere two feet from his own feet. Then again, the simple shoulder shrug from his woman eased away his displeasure at Vince’s stupidity almost getting him zapped.
The red headed woman propped her hands on her hips and quirked an eyebrow. “Care to restate your comment.”
Vince glanced up at him with a small plea in his eyes. Van sighed and did what he did best, pulled his twin’s butt out of the pig pin.
“Miss . . .” Van held his hand out, “My names’ Van. The idoit with no grace is my twin Vince.”
The woman snorted and nodded at him. “Idoit is one word I’d use for him.”
“I could give you a bunch more if you want to grab a cup of coffee.”
“Hey!” Vince brushed off his pants.
“Did he mean what he so rudely said?”
Van looked back at his brother and then back to the woman. “We can tell you are our third.”
“What’s that mean?”
“It means . . .” Vince stopped talking when she pointed a finger at him.
“Cool. I’ve been trying to find a way to shut his trap since he began talking.” Van smiled at his brother, taking the sting of his words away.
“Then I may give you some pointers as well.”
“I’ll gladly take them. As for your question, have you never met a set of twin shifters before?”
“Nope. Didn’t grow up knowing about my true self.”
Lots of topic for them to discuss out of that one answer, but his woman deserved her answer first. “Fate gives twin shifters a woman to share, it’s referred to as a triad partnership.”
The deep intake of breath didn’t bode well for them, nod did the red haired woman turning away from them and darting down the sidewalk.
“Way to go.” Vince snapped. “Don’t stand there. Go bring our woman back to us.”
Van sighed and made his way after the red-haired goddess.

Day 21 of the A to Z April Blogging Challenge 2016

Hi,

How was he supposed to approach a woman he’d never saw before two minutes ago? Oh, he knew about her all his life, but . . . Different didn’t cover what that meant. He’d spent his entire teenage years wondering what taking a girl to the movies would feel like. It wasn’t an option for him and earned him years of snarky comments about his sexual preference. Kind of hard to dispute the claims when he couldn’t tell them to. Oh, he could’ve told them to shove it, because they still had to find the miss perfect, and his had been picked out for him from the day he was born.
“Ulf,” his father squeezed his shoulder, “what bothering you?”
“I don’t know what to do.” He expected his father to laugh, but he didn’t. He gave him the encouraging words he needed.
“Son, I know the feeling. My wolf wasn’t fated to your mother, but she was chosen for me by my father when I was six.”
Ulf had heard the story many times from both his father and grandfather. It wasn’t odd for an Alpha Wolf to choose his son’s mate early in his childhood. Doing so was considered a guarantee that there would be a male child born to the next Alpha in line.
“How did you approach mom?”
“Good question.” His father looked around the area then leaned forward. “I squared my shoulder, stood up tall, plastered a smile over my quivering lips, and walked right up to her and held my hand out.”
“You were nervous?”
“Of course. How could I not be? Like you I’d never interacted with a girl or any kind during my young adult life.” His father tugged him into his side and squeezed him. “All you have to do is walk over and let nature take its course. You two were destined for each other from birth. It was your and her bad luck that you came from two different wolf clans. If that hadn’t been the case, you two would’ve grown up side-by-side.” His father pushed him forward and nodded towards the silky wavy blonde haired woman. “She looks as nervous as you. Get going and ease her mind.”
He took a moment to study her and saw what his father spoke up. Her hands were clinging to her light blue purse straps and she kept bouncing on the balls of her feet. She sucked on her lower lip and scanned the area.
Was she nervous or scared? Maybe a bit of both. If fear, then was it because of meeting a complete stranger or being in a strange area filled with wolves of a different clan than hers? No matter what the case, it was his job to settle her and his inner wolf demanded he quit wasting time and go meet the woman who belonged to them.
Ulf took solid steady steps over to the all leggy woman and cleared his throat when he was near her. She spun around and smiled at him, showing a set of pearly white teeth, but what caught his eyes the most was the bluish-green eyes glowing.
“Hi.”
“Hey. My wolf knows you?”
“Mine knows you as well.” He held his hand out. “Names’ Ulf.”
The moment she put her hand in his, the nerves vanished and the fear of having no idea how to ensure they had a wonderful life together evaporated. All he felt was peace and contentment. Oh, and the need to get her away from all male prying eyes until she bore his wolf mark.

“Names’ Una.”

Day 20 of the A to Z April Blogging Challenge 2016

Hi,
For those of you visiting my blog this is day 20 of the A to Z Blogging Challenge. Today’s corresponding letter is “T” Today I chose the names Tomahawk and Treason. These names may sound unusual, but there are times we forget that people have nicknames that have to be taken into account.

“Tomahawk, you best check-in this minute. I’m not kidding. Sarge isn’t going to like this radio silence.”
Tomahawk reached up and cut the earwig off. He didn’t need the distraction. He had Treason in his line of sight and there was noway he was letting the bastard slip through his fingers this time. Sarge might kick his ass for killing his one connection with the rest of the team, but he would understand when he found out Treason was behind this entire kidnapping.
“How did they know where we stashed the kid?”
A tall man with the born and bred African accent shouted at Treason. Kind of a stupid move on his part. Treason wasn’t keen on being dressed down in private and he liked it less when others were around. It’s what had led to him deserting the Fifth Squad and making a beeline for their biggest enemy. He gave them the layout of the assignment he’d abandon his crew for, leading Fifth Squad into an ambush that costed the life of one of the members.
“You best get the fuck out of my face.” Treason took a step closer to the man who thought he was in-charge, giving Tomahawk the perfect shot.

He checked the wind direction one more time and then pulled the trigger. The hollow point bullet flew dead straight for the side of Treason’s head. Tomahawk would’ve rather had a frontal shot, but he’d take whatever he could get. There was two minutes for him to get back to the gathering point and get his butt chewed in half by Sarge.

Shawn tapped his fingers, hoping his secretary thought he was in deep thought. He doubted he fooled her. Every time Shelly came in to take a memo or give him a message his full attention was drawn to her long slender tanned legs. The woman had model legs that would feel amazing wrapped around him as he pounded her against the wall.
“Will there be anything else, Mr. Hiatt?”
“No, Shelly. Thanks for staying late again tonight.” He wished she’d make some kind of sign that she was interested in him. What was he thinking, he couldn’t get involved with an employee. “Don’t worry about rushing in tomorrow. I’ve got an appointment across town at eight.”
“Yes, sir.” She grinned at him. “You and Mrs. Hiatt meeting with the divorce lawyers again?”
“Yes.”
He would be glad when his future ex-wife would be out of his life. She’d accused him of sleeping with his last secretary. The thought alone of standing next to his ex-employee made his stomach churned. The woman was old enough to be his mother and smelled like baby powders at the end of each long ass work day. Shelly always smelled like roses and chocolate when she arrived at work and by the end of the hours she held a hint of ink and paper, which for some reason turned his dick hard.
“Hope you get good news tomorrow morning and I’ll see you when you arrive. I’ll have your work folders ready for you.”
“Thanks, Shelly.”

Shawn watched her ass sway as she left the office. Soon ass his divorce was final he’d have to see if he’d be seeing if his brother needed a new secretary. If he could get her moved to his brother’s office, then he could make his move on the beautiful blonde who plagued his nightly dreams.

She scooted the chair a bit closer to him, hoping he’d keep his word if trouble broke out. Rose had no idea why Rex wanted to bring her to the worst bar in five towns. It was known for having the law called to it twice a night for drunken brawls.
“Relax, Rose. I won’t let nothing hurt you. Promise.”
“Best not.” She scanned the area, taking note that the place was full of big, burly, men all wearing a black leather coat sporting a bear’s head. “Just what is this place suppose to be, anyway?”
“Bar.”
“Duh.” Sometimes Rose wondered why she bothered to keep seeing Rex. He was a douche with little respect for women. “I was referring to all these biker coats.”
“Hush.” Rex snapped. “Don’t mention them or we will be in trouble.”
“Why would that . . .”
Rex scowled at her and shook his head. Rose knew then it was best if she shut her mouth. Things never boded well for her when he gave her his one raised eyebrow look. Last time she’d see it, she’d ended up with a busted lip.
Rose sat back and lowered her head and placed her hands in her lap. She’d became lost in her own silence when she heard a deep raspy voice.
“Rex.”
“Sir.” Rex sounded tense, and he rarely called anyone sir, which might be why Rose looked up.
“Who’s the lovely lady with you?”
“Rose, Sir.”
“The one you offered us.”
“Offered?” Rose was on her feet and kicked Rex’s chair before she even knew she’d moved. The guy Rex had been talking to took two large steps back. “You offered? What the . . .” Rose threw a punch with all her might, something she’d only done once or twice in her life. Both times had been right after her dad had tried to sell her for sex. The bastard had been a pig and it looked like Rose hadn’t learned her lesson well enough. She’d gone and fallen for another pig, but one difference she could leave this prick whenever she wanted to. She didn’t depend on him for a roof or food. She stepped over Rex and kicked him in the ribs as he doubled over whimpering. “Don’t ever come near me again or you’ll get ten times worse. We clear?”
Rex didn’t answer, but the guy he’d been speaking to did. “Miss Rose, he won’t be able to come near you after we are done with him.”
“What’s that . . . You know, never mind. I’m out.” She tugged her coat on and left without looking back.

Quinn stared down at the little buddle in his arms. He’d never dreamed the day would come that he would be holding a cub that bore his genes. He’d held his nieces and nephews on their days of their birth and it had been an thrilling experiences, but nothing compared to holding Quintavius.
“You going to let us have a go at him?”
“Nope.” Quinn grinned over at his parents. “He’s all mine.”
“Now, wait a minute.” Quad came up to his side and wrapped an arm around him. “Think this little bugger is both of ours.”
He was and Quad knew it, but his lover knew he’d given up on having a child of his own five years ago after the last round of chemo. They had stored some of his sperm for this very moment, but the first two attempts had bombed.
He looked up at Quad and smiled. “Third time is the charm.”

“That is it, lover, that it is.”

What had he been thinking. He hadn’t been. He had been, but with his dick instead of his brain. What a freaking cliché mess he’d gotten himself into. What was he suppose to say to the man. “Sorry, I asked you out on a date, but I can’t be seen out on the town with you.” Yeah, that’d get his ass kicked for sure.
“Hey, Paul. What you doing on this side of town?”
So not who he wanted to see. Peter was the biggest gossiper around. He’d have no qualms about running straight to his church going parents, shouting about how he saw their son gallivanting around town with a man.
“Just took a walk.” How much lamer of an excuse could be given?
“Thought you only wore that question mark keychain on special occasions.”
Paul did. It had been his brother’s and he’d left it with him the day he shipped out to Afganstan. His brother wasn’t one of the lucky ones who made it back home. His brother had been a rock for him. He had known his preference for men and told him it made him better than most people around the world. That he knew what loving someone for life meant if he could show anyone such deep devotion. His brother had told him multiple times to stand up to their parents and be himself. Paul told his brother that when he came home from the war he’d do so. His brother had slapped him on the back and said deal, but don’t stop living until then.
“Paul, you okay?”
What was he suppose to tell Peter? He wasn’t? He was letting his brother down. He’d wore the question mark because today was the day he was going to be in public with his lover of two years. He’d wore it to honor his brother’s memory and a promise he’d made to him.
“Paul,” Tommy’s voice flowed from behind him, easing the tight muscles in his shoulder.
Paul spun around and held his hand out to Tommy, before he gave a second thought as to who was around.

He couldn’t believe it. He’d spent forty years looking for his other half and she’d been right under his nose for the last twenty years. How had they never ran into one another? More importantly, how did he get her attention. She was a ray of sunshine that would light the darkest day.
“Orton,” Rave his best friend salpped him on the back. “you going to stare at her all day or go over and introduce yourself.”
“huh?”
“I can tell she’s your other half.”
“How?”
“Your face is all gooey looking and you’ve been staring at her for the last five minutes and missed the entire battle plan layout.”
Shoot, he’d forgotten their reason for being in town. Rave had the right to punch him out for endangering the entire squard by him being distracted.
“Go on man. Get your fix of her and then meet back up headquarters to get briefed.”
“Sure thing.” Orton walked away mumbling a bye to the other three guys. He heard them chuckle, but his full attention was on the wondrous blonde mere feet away from him.
“Hi.” He said when he came up to her side.
“Hey.” She smiled at him. “Can I help you with something?”
Boy could she, but first he had to get her name. “I saw you from across the street and . . .” Wow what a lame come on he was about to give, but his mind was blank on what else to say.
“And you what?”
“Wanted to ask your name.”
“Olena.”
Fit perfect, she’d be the light in his darkness, if he could get his mouth to work right.
“Beautiful name. Would you mind getting a cup of coffee with me?”
She ran her eyes over him a couple of times then tossed her head toward the small shop behind her. “Let’s go.”

She saw it, but couldn’t believe it. Nate’s dark navy socks stuck out from the bottom of the sheet, while he knelt under the sheet. Worse part  of the entire scene was the thick red headed woman moaning. Neither appeared to be aware of her presents, which ticked her off more than walking in and finding Nate fucking some bimbo in their bed.
She grunted and the woman’s eyes flew open and she scurried towards the headboard.
“What’s wrong, sw - -?” Nate’s muffled voice died when he saw her standing in the doorway.
“Nancy . . . I can - -“
“Don’t bother.” She spun and walked into the closest. Threw some clothes in a bag and then threw the bag at him. “Get the fuck out of here.”
“What?”
“Get. The. Fuck. Out. Of. Here.”
“Why? This is our place.”
“Hold up,” the red headed woman reached over the bed and snatched up her shirt. “you told me this was your place.”
“He did, did he.” Nancy picked up the leggings and tossed them in the woman’s face. “Well, let me in on the truth. The bastard you were just getting ate by is my husband of five years. He took me in that bed last night.”
“Nancy.”
“Don’t Nancy me. I think I told you to get out of here.”
“I won’t leave my house.”

“Sorry, mister, but the house is in my name and I say you go.” Nancy picked up Nate’s shoed and tossed them at him. “You’ve got five minutes before I call the law.”

Matt bit his lower lip as Marie walked into the Blush Lagoon, wearing her typical daisy duke shorts and red cowboy boots. Blush Lagoon wasn’t an upscale restaurant, more of a bar with a renowned chef, who found the high priced for small amount of food a shame.  Mitch loved to eat from the time he was born, so he went off to some fancy school and learned all the fancy techniques and landed the perfect job offer, only to turn it down. Matt’s father and his mother always told him and Mitch that to be identical twins they sure were total opposites. Mitch loved to cook and could care less about money as long as people had their bellies full. Him on the other hand, he was all about the money and had gone off to get his Medical Licenses. He was the top dog among plastic surgeons, but he always came a visiting his small hometown when Mitch and Marie called him home.
“Hey you.” Marie grinned at him. “When you’d get in?”
“Two hours ago.” He slid over and let Marie slide in the booth.
“Guess that’s why Mitch called me over.”
“It was.” Mitch wiped his hands on the white apron he wore. “Dum-wit here came in took his seat and didn’t even bother to let me know he arrived.”
“Seems like you knew.” Matt held his hand out to his twin. “You called our woman.” Marie was the third in their Alpha Triad. Matt spend most of the time with her, since they both preferred the small town life to the city.
“Saw you sitting her sipping a beer when I sat a plate in the window.” Mitch caressed Marie’s face. “You tell him, babe.”
“Tell me what?”
“Just got here.” Marie scooted further into the booth, pressing her long body against his.
Matt wrapped his arm around her and kissed her cheek. He missed her so much when he was away.
“Bout time he knew.” Mitch leaned his elbows on the table. “He has to start preparing his move.”
“My move?” Matt wasn’t following, only reason he’d be moving was if . . . “You’re pregnant?”
Marie’s grin said it all.
Matt sealed his lips over hers and refused to stop kissing her until both of them ran out of breath.
“Damn,” Mitch whispered. “Bro, I think you just spiked the temperature in this room about twenty degrees.”
He might have. He sure did increase Marie’s heartrate. He could feel it beating ten times faster. “When did you find out?”
“Two days ago.”
“I’ve got lots to do.” Understatement and half. He’d promised both of them that he’d give up his work in the city when she became pregnant. He didn’t want to miss a moment of his child’s birth.

“This is too much, Kenny.”
It wasn’t. To him it was penny. He had more than enough to give her a grand or two. Not like his sister every asked for anything before. Kelly was the most determine woman he knew. She thought any help was a handout and she refused to take them. She wanted to make it on her own, not on the money her brother worked hard to gain.
“Take it.”
“No.”
“It’s a gift. Do you refuse gifts.” Kenny knew that was a low blow comment, but he wanted his sister to have her own house, and the bank demanded a down payment of ten grand. Kelly had eight of it.
“It’s too much. You know how I feel about - -“
“I know. It’s either you take this money or I go and pay the entire down payment for you.”
“You would not.”
“I would. You deserve that house. You’ve built your company up from the scratch. Before long it will be the most popular massage parlor in the world.” Okay, that might have been a bit overboard, but it was the truth. Kelly had worked hard. She had built her company from the bottom up. And it could go worldwide if she worked hard enough.
“You can be sweet, but a pain in the ass, brother.”

“I know. Take the money and don’t make me piss you off any more than you are.”

Jamal slipped his finger through the cuff, loving the feel of the fur hugging tight to June’s tiny wrist. “Not rubbing is it?”
“No, Sir.”
“Good girl.”
Jamal stood back and studied his handy work. His slave’s hands were bound behind her back and he ankles were chained to the floor with her legs spread wide open. He could see the wetness soaking the light curls at the junction to heaven. His cock throbbed in anticipation of what he would soon be doing to his pet. It’d been way to long since he’d played with her. He owned her a nice reward for her patients during his merger.
“You know how proud I am of you?”
“Yes, Sir.”
“Do you know why, pet?”
“I worked hard to please you, Sir.”
“That’s right.” Jamal unzipped his pants, freeing himself as he moved in front of her. “Open wide for me, Pet.”

She obeyed and he slipped his cock into the hot haven of her mouth.

Isabel balled up her fist and slung it toward Ian’s face. She bit back the curse as pain shot up her arm from the harsh impact. How in the world could a man’s face be so damn hard.
“What the . . .”
“Don’t even say it.”
“Why not? Think I deserve to know why you clocked me.”
“Why don’t you think back to who you spent last night with.”
Ian’s face paled and he took a step back. “Listen this is all a . . .”
“Yeah, misunderstanding, just like when I caught you spending the night in your office with your assistant.” She’s spent two days crying her eyes out over Ian’s cheating on her. She wouldn’t be doing so this time. “You’ve got five minutes to pack your crap and get out of my house.”
“Hey, I live here to.”
“Yeah, but I own the house. Not you.”
“We both do. We both paid on it.”

“Don’t matter. It’s in my name, so until I’m told different you are out of here.” She marched off, leaving him standing there staring down the hallway.

Harvey squared his shoulder and knocked on the door. Each time he came to visit his best friend, he struggled with his hormone. Herald was the perfect male specimen. Abs that begged to be licked. Shoulders the longed to be massaged. An ass that deserved eating and fucking every day of its life. Problem was Herald preferred a plump woman than a stud.
“About time you got here.” Herald grinned and waved him inside. “Pizza on the coffee table and the movie is cued up.”
There typical buddies’ night out. There was no talk of relationship or work, only good ole fashion guy’s night out. The highlight and dreaded night of Harvey’s week. There was nothing, but being on his deathbed that kept him away from Thursday nights.
“What’s the movie of the night?” Harvey asked as he tugged his coat off.
“Started to torture you with a romantic, but . . .”
“You knew I’d kick your butt if you did.”
“You’d try.” Herald sat on the couch and tossed the pizza box lid open. “It’s your favorite, meat lovers with onions and peppers.”
“Sounds good.” He snatched a slice and kicked the feet of the recliner up.
Harvey had just started the movie when the doorbell rang.
Herald sighed and stood. “Got to be a sales man. Give me a minute.”
Harvey took a bite of pizza and listened as Herald open the door.
“What you doing here?”
“Wanted to see you.”

And there in laid the biggest problem in his life, Herald’s girlfriend of five years.

He spun around the room, taking in the entire setting. Light red candles filtered enough light into the dining room. The air smelled of fresh rolls and seasoned to perfection steak. The salad was chilling in the fridge next to the homemade chocolate cake. The dark velvet box sat in the middle of Grady’s plate. The kitchen fit the mood for phase one of his plan. The bedroom blinds had been shut down tight and he’d put clean navy silk sheets on the bed. All he had to do was wait until Garry got home from work.
He took a deep breath and released it, but it did little to calm his nerves. He’d been working up to this moment for the last five years. Each time he thought it was time to show his true commitment to Garry something major had come up. First, Garry’s mother passed away. Then Garry’s father went into hospice after a two year battle of cancer. By then, Grady had received a promotion to partner of the lawyer firm and it took up more time than he dreamed of. There relationship had been rocky for a year and half, but the last six months things had settled down and the time fit.
Grady jumped to his feet the moment he head the garage door’s motor. Not much longer before he’d know if Garry would make all his dreams come true or destroy him.
“Hey ba - - Wow! The house smells amazing.” Garry’s keys clanked as he laid them on the small table beside the doorway. “Did you get another . . . Grady, baby. What’s this?”
“Supper.”
“Looks like a seduction scene.”
“Might be.” He took Garry’s hand and tugged him against his body, kissing him softly, lingering a moment after the kiss. “Hungry?”
“Yeah and not just for food.” Garry thrust his hips forward. “What’s up?”
“Go take a seat while I get the salad.” Grady stepped around Garry and slipped around the corner. He pepped around the doorframe as Garry went to his seat. He paused when he saw the box.

Moment of truth was coming and Grady was scared to death. He held his breath as Garry’s shaking hands lifted the box’s lid. A small gasp was what sent chills down Grady’s back, but when he saw Garry’s lips curve upwards, he knew his life would be perfect for the rest of his life.
