Vulnerable
Beau’s body melted into my touch as I slipped my hand under his shirt and pushed it up and over his head. The light whimper when I deepened the kiss had me thrusting against him. I scooped him into my arm and carried him over to the bed, laid him down, ignoring the click of the door.
Beau’s arms wound around my back and under my shirt. His soft touch triggered me to nip his lower lip and then trail little love bites down his neck and over his chest. I ran my tongue around his puckered nipple and sucked it between my teeth. Beau arched his back and groaned.
“Please.”
“Please what?” I bit the other nipple, hard enough to sting, but not hurt.
“Don’t . . . Oh damn.” Beau dug his hand into my hair when I slid down his body.
“I’ve got to see.” I fumbled with opening his pants. “Need to taste.” I needed so much more than a taste. I craved all him like I did my next breath.
I sat back on Beau’s legs and unzipped his pants. My mouth watered, and I’m sure I drooled a bit when I tapped Beau’s hip and he lifted for me. I shoved his boxers and pants down and he kicked them the rest of the way off.
“Baby, you’ve got a body to die for.” I ran my hand up his leg and feathered the palm of it over his balls. He thrust upward and grinned at me.
“Take me.”
Those two simple words sent me into overdrive. My clothes were discarded in a matter of seconds and a packet of lube was tossed onto the bed.
“First time?” I ran the flat of my tongue over the precome soaked, mushroom head.
“No,” Beau thrust up, but I moved back, making him whimper. “Please. Going to explode.”
I ripped the lube packet open and slicked my fingers. The moment my finger grazed his opening, Beau shivered, giving me the truthful answer to my question.
“I’ll be gentle as I can.” I locked eyes with him and grinned, knowing he knew I picked up on his self-preservation lie. I’d known before I asked, but I hoped he’d tell me. Guess he figured it would turn me off. Beau’s virginity was actually a turn on.
“Take me, before I explode.”
Beau flinched as I pushed the tip of my finger inside. Within seconds he’d relaxed and I was knuckle deep in him. The second digit caused a moan and him to tighten his grip on my finger. I scissor my fingers and forced myself to take time in prepping him, even though my cock was dripping.
“NO!” Beau shouted when I pulled my fingers from him.
“I’m not leaving you.” I said as I lifted his hip and lined my cock up with his opening. With more patients that I thought I had, I slipped inside him. The moment I was balls deep inside him, I moaned and prayed not to shoot my load before I made love to him like a helpmate deserved.
“Move. Please.” Beau’s request spurred me into action and I pulled back and thrust back in.
We both lost ourselves in each other’s pleasure and after I pumped him full of my come, I slumped to the side, pulling him with me. He cuddled up in my arms and dozed. I ran my hand up and down his back and reveled in the fact that I had a helpmate. Then realization of what that truly meant set in.
The moment my enemies found out about us they’d track him down just to punish me. Not to mention how the Spirit Council would consider me weaker because of having a helpmate. In a way they’d be right. I’d do anything to protect Beau, even cave to their demands.
“What’s wrong?” Beau’s slurred speech and half open eyes had my cock twitching.
“Thinking.” I knew Beau deserved the truth, but feared saying the words.
“Vain, I can feel your distress.”
“Sorry.” I had forgotten how open we would be to one another after making love.
“Don’t be. Just be honest with me.”
“We are one now, which means we can become each other’s weakness.”
“I know.” Beau sighed. “Don’t care.” He gripped my chin. “Vain, we can survive anything as long as we are upfront with each other. You give me your opinion and I’ll give you mine, even if they clash.”
“We can.” I kissed him and he burrowed into my body. “Don’t get to comfy.”
“Why?”
“The others are waiting for us.”
“So, they can wait. We don’t have a clue were to go from here. Do we?”
“We do.” I uncurled him from my body and we both whimpered. “You will be in my lap when we discuss the next part of this mystery.”

Beau grinned and tossed me my clothes. We dressed in silence and then he went and told the other to rejoin them.
